I found it interesting how the movie takes place in a society that has had robotics fully integrated for years. I notice you mentioned that in the movie, the robots "became smarter than the humans." I don't necessarily think that robots being smarter than humans is up for debate; I think it is the fact that their artificial intelligence was so great that it made them self aware, in particular Sonny's character. He even has "dreams" in the movie.
